Nursery Practitioner (Mulberry Garden Nursery, Bathampton)

If you would like to join our small, independent nursery and have the right qualifications and experience, you could be just who we are looking for. We have a vacancy for a Nursery Practitioner, working across our 3 age groups. Children play in our dedicated rooms but also have plenty of opportunity to interact with the other children, explore our garden and go on local visits. We are a child-led nursery, open all year round, Monday-Friday 08:00-18:00.

If you can demonstrate a good understanding of child development, have excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and a minimum of twelve months’ experience at working in an Early Years setting, we would love to hear from you. We are a friendly, inclusive team who all have the same goal: to provide a great experience for our children and ensure quality childcare for our local families.

Requirements for a Nursery Practitioner:

• A minimum level 2 qualification in Early Years or childcare and education; level 3 is preferred

• Minimum of 12 months experience in an Early Years setting

• Comprehensive knowledge of child protection and safeguarding

• Excellent communication skills to ensure successful planning and delivery by the nursery team

• A desire to continually strive for best practice

• A child-centred and inclusive approach to play, learning and development

• Right to work in the UK

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 08:00-18:00 (days can be negotiated, ideally a Monday, Thursday, Friday: 30 hours)
